Amaryllis

Amaryllis blooms in the winter months. Its tall stem carries large trumpet-shaped flowers. In a bouquet, it creates a vertical line and works as a prominent feature in an interior. Before placing it in a vase, recut the stem so the flower can take up water more easily.
